April 5th
The opening reception for the show was fantastic! Thank you everyone, new friends and old friends, who made it to Foley's Fine Art for a little food, wine, chatting, and art last night. It was a grand, successful night, and because of your encouragement, I am setting my goals for the future now even higher than I had imagined a month ago. I greatly appreciate the comments and advice everyone gave me.
I need to post some photos of the event later.
And for the third year, my pieces have been accepted into the Best of Ringling Annual Juried Student Show. The opening reception will be on the 18th, and the show will run through May 2nd. The two pieces that I got in are my little sketchbook full of drawings and process work, and my portrait of the soft side of Sarah Watts.

Yeah... I guess your a good painter....or maybe amazing :) I'm sorry again Doug and I couldn't make it for the show...but since he is an intern he is their slave and can't usually make it down here earlier then 9. Our sketchbooks are going to be buddies together at "Best of" ! Hmmm..I hope they don't talk about us.
Congrats on getting into the best Ringling. Really liked flipping through your sketchbook, looking forward to seeing your thesis at the show this Friday.
Your thesis was amazing, It was the best presentation in the show. I wish you the best of luck that you are finally starting your Freelancing Career and basically starting life!!! I will miss you dearly but Im really happy for all the good thing that are going to come your way! Hopefully we can meet in New York this Summer! I just wanted to let you know that I will always be there for you no matter what state im in! You been a really great inspiration but even more importantly a really Amazing friend and for that there are no words that can express my gratitude. Again Im going to miss you but not forget you.

Thank you, Arrolynn! Actually, my sketchbook told me that your sketchbook is pretty kickin'. Although, I didn't get any pictures of them together, dammit.

Sandra, you are wonderful! Thank you for all your help and for your friendship and kindness. I'm relieved to know that you are there for me, and you feel free to give me a call anytime. Seriously. Besides, NYC is coming up! I can't wait to see you there!
